Imaging

   We partner with Carilion Clinic for the bulk of these tests.  We will order the test and send it to Carilion and then you call to schedule.  They all have to be scheduled beforehand.  Often they take 3 or more days to have results come back.  Don't be shy about calling us if you haven't heard anything for a while though.  

   They could tell you to go to any one of several imaging locations or may give you the choice for where you want to go.  

   Some CT scans and most MRIs will require prior-authorization from your insurance company before they can be done.  Please do not wear clothing with any metal fasteners or buckles if you are going for an MRI.

• Parking: patient parking deck link above.  There is also valet parking available.  
• Getting there: park in the deck and take the elevator down to the lowest level.  There is a tunnel that goes under Belleview Ave. and puts you into the lobby area of the hospital.  There should be an reception desk to direct you from there.  Alternatively, you can find your way across Belleview Ave and go in the front entrance to find the reception desk.

• Parking: there is a parking deck in the center of all the Riverside buildings.  During peak hours they have valet parking.            
• Getting there: Exit the deck and find Riverside #3 (south east corner).  Go one floor up from ground floor.  Follow the signs for imaging and there is a check in counter.

• Parking: There is a parking deck attached to the building.  The entrance is on the ground floor near where you drove into the deck.        
• Getting there: park in the deck, make your way to the ground floor, go through the entrance and check in at the front desk.  They will direct you down a long hallway, through a breezeway, into the next building.  It is one of the first few doors on the right.
